Save Record Ridge Action Committee (SRRAC) has teamed up with the Madhu Collective to raise awareness and funds for clean air in Rossland. The Madhu Collective is hosting the Clean Air Community Artist exhibition this month. The art show features 16 local artists whose works aim to ignite and inspire community conversations about the potential impacts of the proposed Record Ridge Mine and the clean air we breathe. The Art Show is a fundraiser for SRRAC with all donations and a portion of the funds raised going to support the fight against WHY Resources breaking ground on an open pit mine on Record Ridge.
The gallery opened Oct. 25, and is open to the public on Saturday, November 15 and 22 from 2 – 5 p.m. Entry is by donation. The Madhu Collective is located at 2070 Washington St. in Rossland.
